80% of the global workforce is deskless, yet just 1% of all enterprise software funding is dedicated to serving this demographic of 2.7 billion people.
At Sona, our mission is to put cutting-edge technology in the hands of every frontline team to empower them to do their best work. We work closely with our customers across social care, hospitality, retail, charities, and more to build the most intuitive and user-friendly software for their frontline workforces.
Sona combines key workforce management features - including scheduling, time & attendance, and absence management - with dedicated features to empower staff and simplify frontline work for everyone. All in one easy-to-use platform.
Every tech business claims to be user-focused, but we take a truly user-centric approach to everything we do because that’s what makes us different.
You can read the full story behind Sona here, and our co-founder Oli talks about Sona in more depth here.
Tens of thousands of frontline staff are now using Sona and we recently passed a million shifts organised through our platform. Check out the latest count on our website.
Our team doubled in size over the last year (to ~50) and, despite working fully remotely, we got the chance to meet each other at meet-ups in Zurich, Tuscany, and Mallorca.
We closed our Seed funding in March ‘22, led by Google’s Gradient Ventures, and won an innovation award for technology in Social Care. More recently, we ranked 5th out of 8,500 early-stage SaaS companies, according to Notion Capital.
Most importantly though, people and teams love using Sona! More on how our customers are improving their team’s well-being and operating more efficiently here.
Remote & Flexible 💻
At Sona, we believe that everyone does their best work when they are happy and feel in control. That's why we've decided to be fully remote, as that gives everyone the highest degree of flexibility and control over how and where they want to live and work.
We measure in output, not time.
